A man blew himself up during Friday prayers at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan. At least 30 people have died in this suicide blast. While more than 50 have been injured. The injured were taken to Lady Reading Hospital through an ambulance. According to rescue team officials, at least 15 ambulances are present at the spot.
Witnesses told that the incident of bomb blast took place in the mosque during Friday prayers. The mosque in Peshawar was crowded at that time, suddenly one person from the crowd blew himself up with an explosion. Gunshots were also heard before the explosion.
Officials are yet to confirm who is behind the blast. A police team has reached the blast site. Locals said that there are many markets in the area and it is usually packed during the Friday prayers.
