DGP's strict warning

Permission for maha panchayat was not received from the administration

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that we have asked the people to maintain peace. Do not take any law into your hands. In all the incidents that have happened so far, the administration has acted properly on them. There has been no incident of assault or looting so far. If someone is guilty, the law will work against him.
Mehmood Madani's Letter to Amit Shah
On the other hand, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Mahmood Asad Madani has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on this matter. Madani has expressed concern over the incident in Uttarkashi. In his letter, he requested to stop the mahapanchayat. Madani said that if this does not happen, the law and order in Uttarakhand may deteriorate.
