Modi tweeted that his Europe tour is taking place at a time when the region is facing many challenges and has election opportunities. He said European countries are key partners in India's quest for peace and prosperity. They want to strengthen India's spirit of cooperation with its European partners.
After Germany, PM Modi will visit Copenhagen on May 3 and 4 at the invitation of Prime Minister Mette Fredriksson of Denmark. During this, he will hold bilateral talks with Frederickson and participate in the 2nd India-Nordic Summit.

On the last leg of his visit, Modi will stay in France. Modi will meet President Emmanuel Macron there. Let us tell you that this is the first foreign visit of Prime Minister Modi this year.
