Captain Amarinder, who came to file his nomination, said that the alliance of Punjab Lok Congress with Bharatiya Janata Party is necessary for the development of Punjab. In this way, the alliance of Punjab Lok Congress with BJP is necessary to bring Punjab on the path of development in these 7 years.
The Captain said that Punjab cannot be taken forward on the path of development without the help of the BJP Central Government, as the financial condition of Punjab is already very bad. On the question of Congress projecting Charanjit Singh Channi as the chief minister's face, the Captain said that it is a Congress issue. It has nothing to do with them.
On the question of Channi filing nominations from two different assembly seats, Captain Amarinder said that in the last assembly elections he too had contested from two assembly seats Patiala Urban and Lambi, and lost in Lambi.
