Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult troubled the Mumbai Indians batsmen on Monday and turned the Purple Cap race upside down. Both Trent Boult and Yuzi Chahal took three wickets each against Mumbai.

 

While Boult uprooted the top order of Mumbai Indians, Chahal entangled the middle-order batsmen in his web of spin. Thanks to the brilliant performance of both of them, Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets in the 14th match of IPL 2024.

 

In the match played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 125 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.
