External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has defended the use of Russian weapons by the Indian Army. Jaishankar, who arrived in Australia, has targeted western countries like America for not supplying arms to India.

Jaishankar took the class

of western countries

Jaishankar took on the western countries on this issue. He further said that the list of weapons has increased due to several reasons. Western countries were not supplying arms to India for decades. Jaishankar said that instead of giving arms to India, western countries kept giving weapons to the military dictatorial government of Pakistan. This is the reason why India had to take arms from Russia.

India has good relations with Russia

Jaishankar said that we discussed many issues like Ukraine and its repercussions in the Indo-Pacific region, progress in Quad, G-20 issues, and our trilateral. He also said, 'We are clearly against the conflict in Ukraine. PM Modi had also said in Masarkand that this is not the era of war.

Consulate General to open in Bangalore
