The United States on Thursday imposed sanctions on 10 Russian naval entities over Russian operations against Ukrainian ports. The US State Department said that we have increased the pressure on Moscow for Russia's continuous attacks on Ukraine. It is known that this action took place after the meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with President Joe Biden in Washington. After the meeting, Zelensky gave a speech to Congress on Wednesday, during which he thanked the United States for its support of Ukraine in the conflict and requested more arms.

US sanctions on Russian naval entities

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement, 'In light of Russian naval operations against Ukrainian ports that are providing the world with much-needed food and grain, the United States is today imposing sanctions on Russian naval entities.' Along with this, the Foreign Minister said in another statement that Russia has not shown any interest in meaningful diplomacy to end this war. Russia can quickly end the war by withdrawing troops, but we need to see some meaningful evidence that Russia is just and ready to negotiate peace.
