Actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away on Wednesday at the age of 66. His friend and co-actor Anupam Kher tweeted the news of his death. Satish Kaushik passed away due to a heart attack in NCR. His body is currently at Fortis Hospital in Gurugram and will be brought to Mumbai after the post-mortem.

Satish Kaushik was going to meet someone in Gurugram when his health deteriorated and he suffered a heart attack in the car. Ashok Pandit told that Satish Kaushik was in Delhi to celebrate Holi with friends. He was having some trouble so they took him to the hospital. Sadly, he had a heart attack.

The body will reach Mumbai after the postmortem

It is reported that after the post-mortem, his body will be brought to Mumbai for the last rites. Subhash Ghai wrote on social media- It's just heart-wrenching news that we have lost one of our best friends - a man who always laughed in the worst of times and stood by anyone in his distress 'A great artist.
