DM Suhas LY issued an order on Saturday, now prohibiting the participation of more than 100 people in marriage or any other event. The DM has said in his order that strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules. Along with this, the order also appeals to all people to use masks, observe social distancing and wash hands frequently.
Random Covid-19 investigation found 6 infected
In an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus infection in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, the Health Department examined 179 people in Rapid Antigen Kit at Botanical Garden and Jhundpura on Friday for the third day, including 6 People got Covid infected. A three-day investigation found 18 people infected.
It is noteworthy that for the prevention of coronavirus infection in the district, the District Magistrate Suhas LY has instructed people to check antigens reasonably at various places including metro stations, bus bases besides the Delhi-Noida border.
Only 50 people are allowed to attend the wedding in Delhi
Significantly, the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Arvind Kejriwal has also reduced the number of guests attending wedding ceremonies in Delhi from 200 to 50. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday withdrew the earlier number limit of guests because of rising cases of corona virus in the city. DDMA Chairman Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal approved the AAP government's proposal to allow only 50 people to attend the wedding ceremony in Delhi. The Delhi government allowed up to 200 people to attend the wedding ceremony on 31 October. The government had set a limit of 50 people during the unlock period. Kejriwal said on Tuesday that his government has decided to withdraw the earlier order to allow 200 people to attend the wedding in the city.
