According to the BBC report, since the beginning of the war, thousands of foreigners have reached there to support Ukraine. Of these, 10 are also from Taiwan. One of whom, Sheng Guang, was killed in a Russian attack last month. In a statement issued after Sheng's death, Taiwan's Foreign Ministry said that he had given his life for the independence of Ukraine. Speaking to the BBC, Sheng's mother said she will always remember him as a brave boy.

why Taiwanese boys are joining the Ukraine army

BBC has written in its report that people living in Taiwan find Ukraine's condition similar to their own. The people of Taiwan and the government there believe the way Russia has infiltrated Ukraine. In the same way, China can also attack them. That's why Taiwanese boys are fighting a war with Russia to maintain their brotherhood with Ukraine.

Zelensky appealed

It is mandatory to serve in the military in Taiwan, which is why Ukraine is including the people there in its army. Jack Yao, a 28-year-old Taiwanese soldier in Ukraine, told the BBC he joined the Ukrainian army following Zelensky's appeal. In fact, after the start of the war, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, asked the people of other countries to become volunteers. After this many people from all over the world joined the army of Ukraine.
