Ukraine War: Due to Russia's attacks on Ukraine, the world has lost 32 lakh crores so far, with 200 million people on the verge of starvation

9 months and 10 days have passed since Russia's alleged special military operation to disarm Ukraine. War has its meaning and profit-loss for America-Europe-Ukraine and Russia. But, the whole world is paying the price for it. This price has now reached around Rs 32 lakh crore ($ 4 trillion). Ukraine has suffered the most.

According to Oleg Ustenko, Economic Advisor to the Ukrainian President, Ukraine has suffered a loss of one trillion dollars (about eight lakh crore rupees) due to the war. On the other hand, Russia has so far spent about 8,000 billion rupees in the war. On the other hand, America and Europe together have spent Rs 12,520 billion in the war in the name of helping Ukraine. Including factors such as increased food and fuel prices, disrupted supply chains, inflation, and unemployment, the war has cost the world around Rs 24 lakh crore ($3 trillion).

144 lakh crore will be the cost of those killed

Most of those killed in the war were soldiers, with an average age of about 30 years. To put it in perspective, even without adding factors like inflation, if they had contributed to the economy at this average for the next 30 years, the cost would have been around Rs 144 lakh crore. Due to the Covid pandemic and then the war, more than 200 million people around the world are trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty, they have neither food nor work for two days.

More than 1.90 lakh soldiers died on both sides

So far more than 1.90 lakh soldiers have died in the Russia-Ukraine war. Some 15 million Ukrainians are struggling to survive because of the civil war. Of these, around 7.5 million have been displaced, while the rest are struggling to survive due to the non-fulfillment of basic needs such as food, fuel, electricity, and health. The Ukrainian military claims 90,090 Russian soldiers died in the war. At the same time, according to a top American army general, more than one lakh soldiers of Ukraine have been casualties in the war. Russia claims in this regard that about 1.5 lakh soldiers of Ukraine have lost their lives in the war.

Ukraine will take 20 years to return to its pre-war condition

How huge this cost can be gauged from the fact that the cost of the war is almost double that of the entire economy of Russia. If Russia has to pay for the damage done to the world because of the war, then every Russian will have to work for free for about 10 years. Along with this, Russia will have to hand over all its natural resources, business, and income from other sources to the world during this period. At the same time, it will take about 20 years for Ukraine to return to the pre-war situation without outside help.

The whole of Russia will have to do bonded labor for a decade

There can be no cost to the soldiers and civilians killed on both sides in the war, but still, if their contribution to the economy is assessed based on per capita income and life expectancy, then the gross national income of both countries is more than their population. In terms of post-tax per capita income, each Russian contributes Rs 26 lakh and Ukrainian Rs 11 lakh annually to the economy of their countries.
