The proxy war between Israel and Iran, which has been going on for years, is now coming out in the open and now its hideout seems to be Turkey. Yair Lapid, set to become Israel's interim PM, has traveled to Turkey over fears of an attack on Israeli tourists in Turkey.

Does Iran want to remove Israel from the world map?

The relations between Iran and Israel have worsened in the last few years. Iran has blamed Israel for the killings of its top scientists and military officials. Let us tell you that Iranian officials have said many times that they want to remove Israel from the world map, while Israel sees Iran as the biggest threat.

Israel and Iran have been fighting proxy battles for years

Recently Iran claimed a drone operation inside Israel. The two countries have reportedly attacked each other's cargo ships. Just days earlier, Iran said it had to prosecute three men with alleged links to Mossad whom it has accused of planning the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists.

Turkey becomes a new center for Iran and Israel

Iran fired ballistic missiles at an Israeli strategic center in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, while Israel has fired rockets at several targets in Syria targeting Iranian militants and terrorists. Now Israel has appealed to its citizens in Istanbul to leave the city and issued a warning to its citizens not to travel to Turkey. The Israeli government has said that Iranian intelligence officers are very active in Turkey and may kill or kidnap Israeli civilians.

Israel warns

Lapid has warned Iran that if anyone harms an Israeli citizen in any way, then we will not leave him. Israel will capture them from any corner of the world. He has thanked the Turkish government for help. An Israeli security official has said Turkey has arrested several suspected 'operatives' of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
