UP Panchayat Election: The nomination process starts for the first phase, voting on April 15 from seven to six in the evening

The nomination for the three-tier panchayat elections of UP has started from today i.e. Saturday. On this, preparations were finalized on Friday. The first phase of voting will be held on April 15 for which candidates from 18 districts are filing nominations. All the candidates will file nominations for the first phase on Saturday and Sunday. All the candidates will file nominations for Gram Pradhan and Zilla Panchayat members from 8 am to 8 pm. During this time the candidates will have to take care of the Covid protocol. During the nomination, the candidates and their supporters will be required to wear masks and follow social distancing.

 

 

Explain that after filing the nomination, the nomination papers will be examined on April 5 and 6. Candidates will be able to withdraw the nomination papers on April 7 and the election symbol will be allotted on the same day.

In the first phase on April 15 from 7 am to 6 pm, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Rampur, Hathras, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Jhansi, Mahoba, Hardoi, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Shravasti, Santakbirnagar, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, and Bhadohi. Voting will be held.

 

Election process in four stages

The process of panchayat elections will be completed in four stages. The nominations for the first phase will be from April 3, the second phase from April 7 to April 8, the third phase from April 13 to April 15, and the fourth phase from April 17 to April 18.

 

First Phase: On April 15 in 18 districts

Nomination: April 3 to 4, 8 am to 5 pm

Examination of nomination papers: April 5-6, till eight in the morning

Nomination Withdrawal: From 8 am to 3 pm on April 7

Election mark allocation: 7 pm on April 7

Districts - Saharanpur, Ghaziabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Hathras, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Jhansi, Mahoba, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Ayodhya, Shravasti, Santakbirnagar, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Bhadohi.
