After the team's defeat in the match, he reached the dressing room. There he met the entire team including captain Rohit Sharma, experienced batsman Virat Kohli, and coach Rahul Dravid, and patted them on the back. During this time Home Minister Amit Shah was also present there. The Prime Minister told all the players that they performed brilliantly in the entire tournament.
