After this, the temperature may increase by 2-3 degrees.

After this, the temperature will gradually increase by about 2 degrees. However, there is likely to be no significant change in maximum temperatures over the rest of the country during the next five days. The department said that a maximum temperature of 35 to 37 degrees is being recorded in most parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh.
Rain forecast in Northeast India
The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, rain is likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur.
