NCC Freeze fresh NCC Cadet Recruitment in West Bengal: NCC i.e. National Cadet Corps (NCC) has banned the recruitment of new cadets in West Bengal. The National Cadet Corps has currently taken this decision for the financial year 2022-23. An official said that the National Cadet Corps has decided to stop the additional enrollment of new candidates in West Bengal for the 2022-23 financial year due to the alleged lack of budgetary support by the state government.
The official said over 41,000 cadets who are already enrolled in the NCC will also not be able to attend Yuva Vikas Andolan camps organized by the armed forces. In general, NCC is open to all regular students of schools and colleges voluntarily.
