From the first week itself, Gaurav became the leader of the positive group. His team included Pranit More, Abhishek Bajaj, Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, and Nagma Mirajkar. He had a heated argument with Kunika Sadanand during the first captaincy task, but later Kunika herself gave up the captaincy. Gaurav also tried to guide Farhana Bhatt on the right path several times.

Gaurav Khanna was born on December 11, 1981, in Kanpur. Gaurav works in Hindi TV serials. He is known for playing the role of Anuj Kapadia in 'Anupama'. For this, he has also received the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Lead Role. Besides this, Gaurav also won 'Celebrity MasterChef India Season 1'.

Before becoming an actor, Gaurav Khanna worked as a marketing manager at an IT firm for a year. He started his career by appearing in television commercials. Gaurav's first lead role was in 'Meri Doli Tere Angana' in 2007. He gained popularity for his roles as Neil Fernandez in the TV serial 'Jeevan Saathi – Humsafar Zindagi Ke', Inspector Kavin in 'CID', Dr. Akshay Sinha in 'Tere Bin', and Prince Virendra Singh in 'Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta'.
