Congress vs BJP: Once this leader was the strong voice of Congress, now he will speak BJP's language.

Before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress is facing one big blow after another. Economic affairs expert Gaurav Vallabh and boxer Vijender Singh are new names on the list, who have left Congress and joined BJP. Before this, there was a long list of such leaders who left Congress and joined other parties like BJP, Trinamool Congress, SP-BSP. The leaders who fought in favor of the grand old party are now singing praises of the government and criticizing the Congress and its leadership.

 

A new name on the list Gaurav Vallabh

Gaurav Vallabh has also joined the same list, who was attacking BJP for the last few years and has now joined it. The reels of Vallabh's sharp taunt of BJP leaders often went viral on social media. However, he resigned from all Congress posts on Thursday morning saying that he could not raise anti-Sanatan slogans. A few hours later he joined BJP. Let us tell you, Vallabh had contested the assembly elections in Jharkhand and Rajasthan on behalf of Congress, but he had to face defeat.

 

Vallabh also shared his resignation letter sent to Mallikarjun Kharge on social media. He said, 'I was not feeling comfortable seeing the directionless way the party was moving forward. I can neither raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse wealth creators every morning and evening. Therefore, I am resigning from all posts and primary membership of the party.

 

These leaders have also said goodbye to the party

It is not that only Vallabh has left the Congress, but many big leaders have said goodbye to the party. In fact, before this, Jaiveer Shergill, Shehzad Poonawala, and Rita Bahuguna Joshi have also joined hands with the BJP. Shergill joined the BJP in 2022 after spending a decade with the Congress. Poonawalla, another prominent face of the grand old party, made headlines in 2017 when he called the organizational elections of the Congress a sham. He later joined the BJP and was appointed its spokesperson. In 2021, he was also made in charge of the BJP's social media wing for the national capital.

 

Priyanka Chaturvedi was also such a spokesperson

Joshi, a former Congress spokesperson, and Uttar Pradesh Congress chief, joined the BJP in 2016 after the Congress made Sheila Dikshit the chief ministerial face for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh elections. Apart from all this, another big name is that of Priyanka Chaturvedi, who joined Shiv Sena in the year 2019. After the split in Shiv Sena, Chaturvedi joined Shiv Sena UBT.

 

Why did you leave the party?

Now the question arises why did these people leave the party? Whenever a leader left Congress, he blamed dynasty politics. Shergill said he tried to meet the Gandhi family for a year and was forced to bow before the people because he was close to the top leadership. Poonawala said that he was forced to speak against dynasty politics. Earlier, he had challenged Rahul Gandhi to a TV debate on his vision for the Congress.
