Under the order, all US military equipment that is not in Ukraine will be halted. US President Trump ordered Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to implement the aid pause.
It is being told that Trump wants to put pressure on Ukraine to completely end the ongoing war with Russia. He also wants Zelensky to support him in this. But Zelensky is seeking security guarantees to end the war. Earlier when Zelensky said that it is not yet time to agree to end the war with Russia.
