The head of the World Health Organization, Tedros Aghnom Ghebreyesus, says that the cases of the new variant of the Korana virus may be less dangerous but they may not be very symptomatic. He also said that it may be less lethal than the delta variant that came before, but this does not mean that it should be kept in the less symptomatic category. During a press conference, the head of the World Health Organization said that at present, in about 109 countries of the world, by July 2022, only 70 percent of the people will be able to get the vaccine.

Doctor Tedros says that since the beginning of the corona epidemic, the highest number of cases have been reported in the last week. This is happening when the Omicron is less dangerous than the Delta variant. Especially where people have been vaccinated. Despite this, it cannot be called in the category of low symptoms. He clearly said that people infected with Omicron are being admitted to the hospital and due to this, death is also happening, as has happened before.

As far as its tsunami is concerned, it is very soon and very big. For this, we have to improve our health care all over the world as soon as possible. Hospitals are already full of patients. Due to this, people are dying not only due to corona but also due to other diseases. Those injured who are not getting proper treatment on time are also dying.

During the press conference, the head of the organization once again expressed his concern over the uneven distribution of the anti-corona vaccine. He said that the biggest drawback last year has been that the vaccine could not be distributed equitably. According to him, where there was more protective equipment in one country, on the other hand, there were many countries where there was a severe shortage of them. Such countries also lacked basic requirements for health services. Uneven distribution of vaccines has led to many deaths in the past year. Because of this, the world also took time to recover from this problem.

Dr. Tadros said that according to the hospital in France, a new variant B.1.640.2 of the coronavirus, also known as the IHU variant, has been found in tourists returning from Cameroon. The number of people infected by this is about 12.
