Anjali's accused may be charged with murder: Home Ministry directs Delhi Police, sends notice to DCP

Now the accused in the Anjali accident case in Delhi's Kanjhawala can also be charged with murder. The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the Delhi Police to add section 302 in this case. Along with this, instructions have been given to suspend all the police personnel on duty in 3 PCR vans and 2 pickets.

 

The ministry has sent a show cause notice to Delhi DCP Harendra Kumar for laxity in the investigation. Please tell that Harendra Kumar had said that this matter is not of murder but of an accident.

 

Senior Delhi Police officer Shalini Singh has submitted the investigation report of the case to the Ministry of Home Affairs. After this, the ministry has given these instructions to the police. It has been said in this report that this case is not of an accident but of murder. The accused knew that someone was trapped under the car, and even after that, they did not stop the car.

In the interrogation by the police, the accused also admitted that they knew about Anjali being trapped under the car. The accused said that after the accident, they took U-turns of the car several times as they were very scared. According to media reports, he has also admitted that the story of loud music playing in the car was false.

 

Nidhi did not go on an Agra date for 8 months

On the other hand, his lawyer in Agra has disclosed the fund. Advocate Mohd. Asif Azad told that Nidhi did not appear in court for the last 8 months in the case of smuggling of marijuana. Not only this, Nidhi did not even contact the lawyer.

 

Nidhi was caught by the GRP for smuggling ganja in Agra. As soon as the information about the Delhi accident was received, the GRP searched its records. It was learned that Nidhi was caught on 6 December 2020 at Agra Cantt station. From there he was sent to jail.

 

The accident happened on the night of 31 December

Anjali met with an accident on the night of 31st December at around 1.30 am in the Kanjhawala area. According to the police, Anjali was returning home from Scooty. That's why 5 youths riding in the car had hit. After the accident, the youth fled with the car. Anjali remains trapped under the car. He was dragged for 12 km.

 

Earlier the matter of dragging 4 km came to the fore. Later it is also revealed that Anjali was accompanied by her friend Nidhi and she suffered minor injuries but fled from the spot after the accident.
