Anushka told how she and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli cook food for their children Vamika and Akay themselves. She emphasized the importance of handing over family food to the next generation and also stressed maintaining a routine for your children.
During this program, Anushka said, "There was a discussion in our house that if we do not cook the food that our mother cooks, then we will not be able to give these family food recipes to our children. That's why sometimes I cook and sometimes my husband Virat cooks.'' Anushka further said, ''We try to cook the same food as our mother used to cook. I also cheat a little sometimes, call my mother, and ask for the recipe.''
Anushka also said, ''I am very strict about routine. We travel a lot and during this time my children experience a lot of changes. So I make a routine for them so that both of them remain in control. Vamika and Akay have a fixed time to eat. We eat at a fixed time and sleep at a fixed time.
Anushka has returned to India this time without her children and husband Virat Kohli. This is her second visit to India since the birth of her son Akay. Earlier she came to India for IPL in May.
