Homepod Mini Speaker: Who does not like to listen to good songs and what to say if you have a mini portable pod. Yes, Apple's Homepod Mini Speaker is coming to make the dream come true. According to a new report, Apple can again dominate the smart speaker segment with a new Homepod Speaker. Apple stopped selling its first-gen smart speaker and instead brought the HomePod Mini at a lower cost. It is believed that Apple may bring a new sizable HomePod to the market by the end of this year or may launch it in early 2023.
Apple Homepod Speaker: How much can it cost:
The new HomePod speaker could be offered with tone-down features, and maybe even a different build quality to keep the price down. Apple can sell HomePod Mini for up to $99 (Rs 9,000 in India).
Google can compete with Instant and Alexa:
More than hardware, Apple needs Siri in the speaker to talk. The smart home segment is a tough competition from Amazon in the form of Google Assistant and Alexa, both of which are built to deliver great results. Apple is competing with Siri, limiting its use to the iPhone in most cases.
A more mature Siri is needed to make the new HomePod great and Apple's decision to dive into the high-end smart speaker segment can be justified once again. It is rumored that the new Apple device is expected to have Siri, along with a camera and a screen to support FaceTime calls, among other features.
