Corona: Tough steps have been taken, the entire lockdown will affect the livelihood- Mamata

After the first meeting of the cabinet of his new government, the chief minister told reporters, "We have taken tough steps ... The number of beds in hospitals (for Covid-19 patients) has been increased to 30,000 in the state." All the medical college hospitals in the state have also been asked to set up oxygen plants and they have been permitted to increase the number of beds according to their own. The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to offer Namaz in small groups (less than 50 people) on the occasion of Eid.

 

The Chief Minister said that his government has demanded three crore vaccines for Bengal from the Center, out of which one crore will be given to private hospitals. "Several steps are being taken to break the chain of virus infection like suspension of local train services," he said. Everyone should strictly follow the Covid-19 rules and behave as if a lockdown has been imposed across the state. Has gone, even if they arrived in the state by helicopter or special flights.

 

He thanked the common people and industrial houses for their valuable help in promoting the infrastructure of the state. He requested them to continue the financial assistance of the administration in the purchase of the necessary vaccines and assured them that an expenditure of their money would be audited. He once again said that the Center should abolish GST on any initiative on building health infrastructure during this epidemic so that a large number of industrial bodies come forward to help.

On the allegations made in the context of post-election violence, the chief minister claimed that the BJP's IT cell was rumored to be fake.
