Covid 19: Corona hit again on education, this state closed schools till July 24

Corona cases are increasing once again across the country. From the very beginning, the education sector of the country has been the first victim of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic. Once again a similar atmosphere is being seen. Because of the increasing cases of the corona, the Manipur government has closed all the schools in the state till July 24.

 

The state's positivity rate is 15%

 

In the order issued by H Gyan Prakash, Commissioner of School Education, Government of Manipur, it has been told that the positivity rate of corona in the state has gone up to 15 percent. Keeping this in mind, all private, government schools in the state have been closed with immediate effect till July 24. Let us inform you that the summer vacations are continuing in the schools in the state. The schools were to open on 16 July.

 

No effective vaccine for under 12s in the state

 

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh had also recently informed that the state government would discuss the health protection of children below 12 years of age. This is because there is no effective COVID-19 vaccine for them in Manipur as of now.

 

Active patients in the country more than one lakh

 

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday (July 13), the number of active patients in the country has increased to 1,32,457, which is 1,441 more than yesterday. At the same time, 16,906 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and during this time 45 patients lost their lives.
