Who is Draupadi Murmu

Draupadi Murmu was married to Shyam Charan Murmu. She had two sons and a daughter, but she lost her husband and her two sons shortly after their marriage.
However, Draupadi never gave up on difficulties and overcame all odds, she graduated with a degree in Arts from Ramadevi Mahila College, Bhubaneswar.

Draupadi Murmu started her political career in 1997 as a councilor in Rairangpur Nagar Panchayat, Odisha, and then in 2000, she became a minister in the Odisha government.
