This time he was denied the ticket in favor of Rivaba Jadeja. However, Rivaba's father-in-law and sister-in-law campaigned for the Congress candidate. His sister-in-law Naynaba Jadeja belongs to Congress.

About Jamnagar North Constituency
After delimitation, a constituency was formed in 2012, and voting was held for the first time.
