According to defense sources, the forests of Tarayath, Mogla of Kalakot in Rajouri district, and Kot Chadhwal of Budhal are adjacent to Pouni in Reasi and information has been received earlier about the presence of terrorists in these forest areas. Kot Chadhwal, Narla, Bambal of Budhal, Tarayath of Kalakot, Mogla Khwas, etc. are such forest areas, which are adjacent to Pouni, Shivkhodi of Reasi district and it takes very little time to reach here.
If the terrorists are aware of the forest route, they can reach these forests of Rajouri within one to one and a half hours and hide in the natural caves built in them. According to sources, the SOG team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, and Indian Army's Para Commandos, National Rifle Battalion soldiers are engaged in the search operation. According to officials of security agencies, the security forces have surrounded these forest areas from all sides. An intensive search operation will be started in the forest areas with the first light of Monday morning. The help of drones and sniffer dogs will also be taken in this so that if the terrorists have reached the forests, they can be killed.
