In 3 days, new cases came down from 4.02 lakhs to 3.55 lakhs, a record 3.18 lakh people got cured in one day

There are two good and one bad news for the country. The bad news is that the number of corona patients in the country has crossed 2 crores. That is more than 2 crores 2 lakh 75 thousand people have been caught in the infection till now.

 

Now the first good news is that for the first time in India, a record 3.18 lakh people have been recovered within a day. So far, so many patients have not been cured in the whole world. The other good news is that the number of new patients has declined for the third consecutive day on Monday. Within the last 24 hours 3 lakh 55 thousand 680 people have been found infected in the country. There has been a steady decline in new numbers of patients since 30 April.

 

On April 30, a record 4.02 lakh patients were found in a single day. After this, 3.92 lakh cases were found on Saturday and 3.70 lakh cases on Sunday. Comparing this week with the previous week, there has been an increase of 15% cases during this period.

 

There was a 41% increase in deaths in a week, the highest in the world

On Monday, 3436 people died due to infection in the country. This was the 6th day in a row when more than 3 thousand people have lost their lives. Looking at the data for the whole week, the number of deaths has increased by 41% this week. During this period, 24 thousand 503 patients have died. The situation is that one death is happening every 3 minutes in Delhi, the capital of the country. On Monday, 448 people lost their lives here. Compared to the world's top-10 countries, in addition to India, Turkey, Argentina, Germany, and Colombia have seen an increase in the number of deaths. The rest of the countries like America, Brazil, France, Iran have registered a decline compared to the previous week.

Corona Updates

 

Ultimately, Bihar has also decided to lock down the chain of infection. Bihar has become the seventh state to lockdown after Haryana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Goa. CM Nitish Kumar had a meeting on Tuesday with ministers and officials.

 

Today the government announced the decision to impose a total lockdown by 15 May.

5 new corona strains have been found in Nagpur, Maharashtra. According to the report from Delhi, these strains were found in 35 samples. Samples of suspected patients from Nagpur's Indira Gandhi Medical College and Nagpur Medical College were sent to Pune and Delhi for examination. 35 out of 74 samples found 5 mutations. Out of this, a double mutation in 26 samples has been said by Dr. Ravindra Khadse, associate professor in the Department of Micro Biology of Indira Gandhi Medical College.

 

Union Joint Secretary of Health Luv Agarwal said that there is another positive trend in the country. The recovery rate is continuously increasing. On 2 May it was 78%. Increased to 82% on 3 May. We are planning to use the industry's oxygen from the medical purse. We are also talking to the state about this. Work is now underway on the 1050 PSA Oxygen Plant in the country. Covid centers will be built near the oxygen plant.

 

30 people were found corona positive in a flight from Rome to Amritsar Eye Air India. According to aviation industry sources, the flight came on Wednesday.

Yogita Solanki, daughter of Union Minister Thavarchand Gehlot, died on Monday. She was ill for a few days.

 

The leaders of 13 opposition parties have issued a joint statement. It has appealed to the government to start free vaccination drives across the country on a large scale. Leaders say that the second wave of Corona is becoming very frightening. Only vaccination will be effective in preventing this.

1. Maharashtra

 

On Monday, 48,621 people were found infected. 59,500 people were recovered and 567 died. So far, 47 lakh 71 thousand people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 40.41 lakh people have been cured, while 70,851 people have died. 6.56 lakh patients are currently being treated.

 

2. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Monday, 29,052 people were found infected. 38,687 people recovered and 285 people died. So far, 13.42 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 10.43 thousand have been cured, while 13,447 patients succumbed. 2 lakh 85 thousand patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Delhi

 

In the country's capital Delhi, 18,043 people were found corona positive on Monday. 20,293 people recovered and 448 died. So far, 11 lakh 94 thousand people have been infected. Of these, 10 lakh 85 thousand have been cured, while 17,414 patients have died. 89,592 is undergoing treatment.

 

4. Chhattisgarh

 

On Sunday, 15,274 people were found corona infected. 14,398 people recovered and 266 died. So far, 7,71,701 people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 6,41,449 people have been cured, while 9,275 patients have died. 1,20,977 are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Gujarat

 

On Monday, 12,820 people were found infected in the state. 11,999 people recovered and 140 died. So far 6,07,422 people have been infected. Of these, 4,52,275 have been cured, while 7,648 patients have died. 1,47,499 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Monday, 12,062 people were found corona positive in the state. 13,408 people recovered and 93 died. So far 6,00,430 people have been infected. Of these, 5,08,775 people have been cured, while 5,905 people have died. 85,750 patients are undergoing treatment.
