Because of the announcement of a mahapanchayat by the United Kisan Morcha and other farmer organizations on Monday at Jantar Mantar, elaborate arrangements have been made by the Outer District Police. Once again, a large number of police have got barricades and concrete structures placed on the roadside at the Tikri border. Cranes have also been arranged so that the concrete structure can be placed in the middle of the road immediately when needed.

The duty of many inspectors imposed

Police officers say that if farmers approach the border in large numbers, it will cause law and order problems, so they will be stopped. On Saturday night and Sunday also, some groups of farmers tried to cross the border but were stopped.

Outer District Deputy Commissioner of Police Sameer Sharma said that because of the Mahapanchayat, there is every possibility that a large number of farmers use the Tikri border to enter Delhi. Because of this, the police are fully alert. Police are deployed not only on the Rohtak road located at the Tikri border, but also around the railway line, and metro station passing through here. Everywhere is being monitored.

In East Delhi's Yamunapar too, the police have increased security on the border. Police started checking vehicles on Sunday evening by putting barricades on Chilla, Ghazipur, Apsara, and Bhopura borders. Security will be further tightened from Monday morning. After checking the vehicles, UP vehicles will be allowed to enter Delhi. Police say that the Mahapanchayat to be held at Jantar Mantar has not got permission from the police, in such a situation, the police have tightened the security arrangements at the border of Uttar Pradesh connected with Yamunapar. District Deputy Commissioner of Police level officers is themselves investigating the border.

Four inspectors, and one ACP will keep an eye on the border

The duty of four officers of the rank of Inspector has been imposed on the border. The duty of ACP of Nangloi Subdivision has been imposed on them. Outer District Deputy Commissioner of Police Sameer Sharma himself will keep an eye on the activities of the border.

200 security personnel will be deployed, so much reserve will be kept

On Monday, about 200 security personnel will be deployed in and around the border. In this, half the number will be of Delhi Police and half the number of paramilitary forces. Police officers have kept an equal number of police forces in reserve.
