937 infected died

On Friday, 937 patients died due to infection in the country. Maximum 300 in Maharashtra, 119 in Tamil Nadu, 101 in Karnataka, 89 in Andhra Pradesh, 63 in Uttar Pradesh, 52 in West Bengal, 23 in Delhi, 22-22 in Punjab and Gujarat, 16 in Madhya Pradesh, 13 in Jammu and Kashmir. , 12-12 in Telangana, Odisha and Bihar, 10-10 in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand, 9 in Haryana, 6-6 in Jharkhand and Assam, 5-5 in Tripura, Puducherry and Kerala, 4 in Goa, Chandigarh and Andaman. There were 3–3 deaths in Nicobar, 2–2 in Ladakh, and Manipur. 1 infected in Nagaland lost his life. With this, the death toll has now risen to 42 thousand 578.

 

A record 6.64 lakh people were screened

The order issued by District Collector Inderjit Singh states that the lockdown will start from 8 pm on August 7 till 6 am on August 10. It is currently for this week only. Bihar:
