
December 16, 1971, is the day when India inflicted a crushing defeat on Pakistan, leading to the liberation of Bangladesh. This day is celebrated as Vijay Diwas (Victory Day). On this 54th Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings to everyone.
Sharing a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi remembered the brave soldiers of 1971 who played a crucial role in the liberation of Bangladesh. He paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the war.

In Operation Sindoor, the army performed brilliantly with the help of self-reliance, strategic determination, and modern warfare techniques. This is a source of inspiration for the entire country.
