Nasal Vaccine Price: Price fixed for Bharat Biotech's Nasal Vaccine, know how long it will be available?

The price of Bharat Biotech's intranasal corona vaccine INCOVACC, given through the nose, has been fixed. According to the Government of India, the cost of one dose in private hospitals will be Rs.800. Apart from this, five percent GST will also have to be paid. According to the report, private hospitals are also allowed to levy an administrative charge of Rs 150 for a single dose. In this way, the cost of one dose of this vaccine will be around 1000 rupees at present. At the same time, the cost of this vaccine will be Rs.325 in government hospitals. Let us inform you that Bharat Biotech's intranasal vaccine iNCOVACC was included in the corona vaccination program only last week.

 

Will be available by end of January

The intranasal vaccine was previously approved as a booster shot for people fully vaccinated with Covaxin or Covishield. According to the report, by the end of January, it will be available for those who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine.

 

 

Mandaviya had announced

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Friday that the central government has approved the inclusion of iNCOVACC in the Kovid-19 vaccination campaign. He also said that initially the vaccine would be available in private hospitals and would be added to the Cowin app.

 

This nasal vaccine was prepared in collaboration with the University of Washington
