Pak government took a big step to fulfill the conditions of FATF, 'currency declaration' mandatory for international travelers

According to a notification issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Government of Pakistan has decided to issue currency to all international travelers to meet the condition of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and to prevent money laundering. Money Declaration has been made mandatory.

The notification came after a FATF team visited Pakistan next month to verify the steps taken by Islamabad to curb money laundering and terror financing, The Express Tribune reported. expected to come. CAA issued a notification on the instructions of FBR

 

The CAA has issued the notification on the instructions of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), which states that international passengers will have to fill out a declaration form and then hand it over to the airline staff. This manifesto will contain details of domestic and foreign exchange.

 

The flight will not be able to fly without submitting the declaration form

 

The statement also said that no international passenger will be able to board the flight or leave the airport without submitting the declaration form. He has to fill out the declaration form.

 

A currency declaration form has to be submitted before checking in

 

The notification states that passengers will have to submit a currency declaration form to the customs staff before they can check in for the flight. The authority had issued instructions that currency declaration forms should be made available at the booking offices of airlines.

 

According to The Express Tribune, the notification further said that domestic and foreign airlines, pilots, and employees have been informed about the provisions and details of the Customs Declaration Form.
