Ram Gopal Varma: Police sent notice to director in tampering case of CM Naidu's photos, will be questioned

Director Ram Gopal Varma is accused of allegedly posting morphed pictures of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media. A notice has been sent to the director in this case and he has been called for questioning. According to news agency PTI, Andhra Pradesh Police on Wednesday summoned film director Ram Gopal Varma for questioning in connection with posting morphed pictures of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media.

 

Will appear before the police on this day

 

A team of Prakasam district police reached Ragopal Varma's Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad today on Wednesday. During this, the team gave the notice to the director personally around 10 am and asked him to appear before the investigating officer at Maddipadu police station on November 19.

 

The director will join the investigation

Prakasam district Superintendent of Police AR Damodar said, 'We gave notice to Ram Gopal Varma to appear before the investigating officer. A police official said that after receiving the notice, Varma informed the police that he would join the investigation. On November 11, the Prakasam district police registered a case against the director for allegedly posting morphed pictures on social media.

 

These allegations were made against the director.

 

The case was registered against Ram Gopal Varma under various sections based on a complaint received from Ramalingam (45) of Maddipadu. In this, he accused Ram Gopal Varma of using social media to spread derogatory content against Naidu and his family, which also includes his son Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmani.
