Girls got entry into university in February
On 15 August 2021, the Taliban captured Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The Taliban regained power in Kabul after 20 years after American troops left in May 2021. After the Taliban came to power, girls were banned from going to college. However, in February 2022, the government agreed to allow girls to enter college with rules.
The order for women to wear burqa was issued in May.
In May, the Taliban government said in a decree that women would now have to wear the burqa in public places. If the woman does not cover her face outside the house, her father or the nearest male relative will be put in jail. If someone is in a government job, then action will be taken against him and he can also be fired.
