Anti-Corona Vaccine The vaccine of Pfizer/BioNTech will be only 47 percent effective after six months of vaccination. When Deciding on the Need for Booster Shots in the U.S. Health agencies have said this. He said that one study showed that the effect of the vaccine decreased six months after vaccination. According to this, the vaccine of Pfizer/BioNTech, which is up to 88 percent effective in protecting against corona infection, will be only 47 percent effective after six months of vaccination. This way the risk of getting hit by the delta variant will increase.

This data was published in The Lancet medical journal. The analysis found that the efficacy of the vaccine was 90 percent for six months. During this time, due to the vaccine, Covid patients helped reduce the risk of a serious condition. Along with this, the highly contagious Delta variant of Corona was also protected. This decrease in efficacy was reported to be due to the vaccine being less effective over time and not because of the highly infectious variant.

The Pfizer vaccine against the delta variant is up to 93 percent effective up to one month after vaccination, reducing its effectiveness to 53 percent at four months, while its efficacy against the other variant is down from 97 percent to 67 percent.

"Our variant-specific analysis clearly shows that the (Pfizer/BioNTech) vaccine is effective against all current infectious variants of the coronavirus, including Delta," said Luis Jodar, senior vice president and chief medical officer of Pfizer Vaccines.
