Corona has weakened in the country. Cases are coming down and more patients are recovering. In the past one month, there has been a decrease of about 30% in the daily case. On September 16, the new case peak came. 97 thousand 860 cases came that day. Now, this figure is below 70 thousand for the last five days. On Thursday, 60 thousand 419 people were found infected. 68 thousand 202 people were recovered and 835 patients died.
So far 73 lakh 65 thousand 509 people have been found corona positive in the country. Of these, 8 lakh 3 thousand 524 patients are under treatment, while 64 lakh 48 thousand 658 people have been cured. So far 1 lakh 12 thousand 146 patients have died due to infection. PM Modi ordered to increase testing
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked all states to increase testing and serosurvey. He said this in an important meeting called in the PMO on Thursday. The PM assured the companies making the vaccine all possible help from the government. He also said that testing facilities should be provided to everyone at a low cost.
Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Chairman of NITI Aayog, Principal Scientific Advisor, Senior Scientists working on vaccine, and some officers were present in the meeting.
Ministry of Culture issued SOP
The Ministry of Culture has released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for cultural events taking place across the country. It said that there would be no cultural event in the containment zone. If it is being held in the event hall, then only 50% of people will be able to attend it. A maximum of 200 people will be allowed to join.

A distance of at least six feet has to be kept between each other.
Everyone's temperature check will be done at the entry gate. Entries that do not have signs of infection will not be given.
Spitting in public places will be banned. Those with high risk will not get an entry.
Everyone must wear a face mask.
The organizing team, crew members, artists all have to undergo a corona test seven days before the show. Permission will be given only when a negative report comes.
All artists will have to try and wear costumes from their home. Use green room only when needed.
The stage and the entire campus have to be sanitized before the event.
Only packed food will be allowed during the event.
Corona updates
The Ministry of Industry has given exemption for the export of alcohol-based hand sanitizer containers and dispenser pumps. It was banned earlier because of the Corona crisis.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered the OPD service and some necessary surgeries to be resumed in state hospitals.
Punjab government has decided to open schools for students of class 9-12th from October 19 in the state. Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla said that SOP has been prepared for this.

1. Madhya Pradesh
On Thursday, 1308 new cases were found in the state and 1559 patients were cured. 24 patients died. So far 1 lakh 56 thousand 584 people have been found infected. Out of these, 1 lakh 39 thousand 717 have been cured. 14 thousand 157 patients are under treatment and 2710 have died.
2. Rajasthan
On Thursday, 2039 were found infected in the state. 2149 patients recovered and 14 died. So far, 1 lakh 67 thousand 279 corona patients have been confirmed. Out of these, 1 lakh 43 thousand 984 have been cured, while 21 thousand 587 are under treatment. 1708 infected have died so far.
3. Bihar
On Thursday, 1276 people were found infected in the state, 804 people recovered and five patients died. With this, the figure of corona patients has crossed two lakh. So far 2 lakh 825 people have been found infected. Out of these, 1 lakh 88 thousand 802 people have been cured. Currently, 11 thousand 50 are under treatment, and 972 infected have died.
4. Maharashtra
On Thursday, 10 thousand 226 new patients were found in the state, 13 thousand 714 were cured and 337 died. So far 15 lakh 64 thousand 615 people have been found infected. Out of these, 13 lakh 30 thousand 483 have been cured, while 1 lakh 92 thousand 459 are under treatment. 41 thousand 196 people have died due to infection.
5. Uttar Pradesh
On Thursday, 1.5 lakh people were screened in the state. Of these 2672 people reported positive. So far, 4 lakh 47 thousand 383 people have been found infected. Of these, 36 thousand 295 patients are being treated, while 4 lakh 4 thousand 545 people have been cured. 6543 people have died due to Corona.
