CM Yogi Adityanath has deployed women nodal officers in all the districts of the state with a special campaign to make women and girls' safety honor self-reliant in the review meeting. The CM will start a campaign for women running for 180 days under the Mission Shakti Abhiyan, to make them aware.
Women can feel free to share their words with women officers
The Yogi government, which is constantly taking steps to protect women, has taken this decision on Thursday. This step of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has announced the Mission Shakti Abhiyan for women in UP since October 17, is being linked with the campaign for women safety.
Women police personnel will be posted at the help desk
Women police personnel will be deployed at the help desk to be constructed in police stations. Women police personnel posted at the help desk will be ready to listen to the complaints as well as help the women at any time. Yogi Sarkar has also built pink booths for women at different intersections of the capital earlier.
The Yogi government has also made arrangements to bring women returning late from work to home. As a result of the seriousness of the Yogi government on women's safety, the deployment of women police personnel is compulsory even at the intersections of major cities of UP including the capital. A plan has been prepared for redressal of the complaints of the victims together with the women power lines 1090 and 112.
Deployment of women nodal officers in all districts
Women officers posted in different districts of 75 districts of the state have been posted as nodal in charge of that district. The divisional commissioner, district magistrate, chief development officer, SP-SSP, who is also a female officer, has been posted as the nodal officer for the Mahila Crime Review and Mission Shakti Abhiyan. She will lead a campaign to stop women crime and make women aware.
In Lucknow and Noida, ADG and IAS officer Nodal in charge, ADG level woman Renuka Mishra has been made nodal officer in Lucknow. Along with him two DIG, IG level officers have been included in the team. Similarly, CDO Noida Ritu Maheshwari and SP Crime Suparna Ganguly have been posted as Nodal Officers in Gautam Budh Nagar. Apart from this, women officers posted in other districts of the state have been appointed as nodal officers.
