Himachal Kullu Tourists Accident, Himachal Pradesh A group of 17 people who went to visit Jalori Jot, a beautiful tourist place in the Kullu district, became a victim of an accident. The tempo traveler of tourists fell into a gorge about 500 feet in Ghaygi, Banjar. 7 tourists died in the accident, while 10 were injured. The accident happened late at the night around 9 o'clock. There have been accidents in Ghyagi on National Highway 305 in the past as well. Slippery due to narrow roads and rain is the main cause of accidents here. A total of 17 tourists, including students of IIT Varanasi, had come to Kullu from Majnun Tilla in Delhi by booking UP number tempo traveler UP 14 HT 8242. These included tourists from four states.
On Sunday night at around 9 o'clock, when these tourists were coming back to Banjar after turning from Jalori holding, the car fell straight into a 500 feet ditch due to the non-availability of brakes in unloading near Ghyagi's turn. The car got blown up in the accident. Four tourists died on the spot, while the rest were seriously injured. Hearing the cries of the injured, the people of the surrounding reached the spot and took them out of the ditch, and took them to Banjar Hospital in their vehicles.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the administration and police team reached the spot. Three tourists died on the way. After first aid, the injured were referred to the Kullu and Nerchowk hospitals because of their condition at Banjar Hospital. MLA Surendra Shourie also reached the hospital as soon as the incident was reported. The Chief Minister directed to keep the Manali-Chandigarh highway open to refer the injured.

The injured told that the brake leather of the car had become hot, due to which the brakes were not working. The driver also stopped the car, but due to darkness and bad weather, the tourists asked to move slowly. After this, the car fell straight into the ditch at some distance due to the non-functioning of brakes. There is no landing here and due to continuous braking, this kind of technical problem comes.
