Thousands of people are trying to leave Kabul amid the complete occupation of the Taliban in Afghanistan. According to sources in the news agency AFP, there was a commotion in the crowd of thousands of people at Kabul airport, after which US forces opened fire in the air to disperse the crowd.

All commercial flights canceled from Kabul Airport

 

A statement said that all commercial flights were suspended at Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport, Tolo News reported. The statement appealed to the people to avoid crowding at the airport. According to Reuters news agency, in an interview with Al Jazeera, Taliban spokesman Mohammad Naeem said that the organization wants to have peaceful relations with the international community and is ready to discuss any issue with them. Mohammad Naeem said that the Taliban do not want to live in isolation. He said that it will be clear soon about what kind of governance system will be in Afghanistan.

 

President Ashraf Ghani has fled the country after the Taliban entered the capital Kabul on Sunday, according to Reuters. A Taliban spokesman said no embassy or any headquarters in the capital had been targeted. Those diplomats or civilians who want to leave from here, the Taliban will give them a way to get out safely.

 

In 2001, the US-led forces in Afghanistan ousted the Taliban from power. But gradually this group strengthened itself rapidly and now once again it has captured almost the whole of Afghanistan.
