Meghalaya Police had just started solving the Sonam Raghuvanshi case when another murder mystery came before the police. Recently, 25-year-old law intern Namrata Bora (Namrata Bora Accident Case) died in a car accident in Meghalaya. However, now Namrata's family has refused to accept it as an accident.
Namrata Bora's family has complained to the police about this accident. The family says that it was not just an accident but Namrata has been murdered.
Namrata had gone to Shillong with friends.
Namrata Bora was a law student living in the Golaghat district of Guwahati. Namrata had gone to Shillong with three others including Anayatul Vaddu, a youth leader of AIUDF and son of the party MLA. The three other people present with Namrata have been identified as Mriganka Bora, Pragya Dihingiya, and Gayatri Bora.
How did the accident happen?
According to the information, the car of the five met with an accident at Nongpoh in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya at around 4:15 am on June 4. Namrata died in this accident and the other four companions suffered some injuries.
Family raised questions
Namrata's brother Rishabhand Bora has lodged an FIR against the four companions at the Nongpoh police station. Apart from this, Namrata's family has also lodged a separate complaint at the Dispur police station in Assam. The family alleges that if it was just an accident, then why did Anaitul and Gayatri run away from the spot? Why did the other two companions take Namrata to the hospital?
A new challenge in front of Meghalaya Police
The challenge of solving Namrata Bora's murder mystery has come before the Meghalaya Police at a time when the entire focus of the police is on Sonam Raghuvanshi's case. The truth behind the death of Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raja Raghuvanshi, who went missing from Meghalaya on May 23, is still not fully revealed. The body of Raja Raghuvanshi, who had gone to Meghalaya from Indore for honeymoon, was found lying in a deep ditch. Meanwhile, Sonam Raghuvanshi was arrested by the police from Ghazipur in UP yesterday.
