Asad Encounter: Ashraf met Ashraf in Bareilly jail before Umesh Pal's murder, Asad and Ghulam were killed in the encounter

Asad, the prize son of mafia Atiq Ahmed, who was killed in the encounter, and shooter Ghulam met Ashraf in Bareilly District Jail. When the investigation took place after the murder of advocate Umeshpal and two policemen in Prayagraj on February 24, this surprising thing came to the fore. It was learned that the nine accused involved in the murder case along with Asad and Ghulam had met Ashraf in jail. The accused carried out the murder only after Ashraf's signal.

 

Based on these facts, the Prayagraj Police and STF busted the plot of the Umeshpal murder case in Bareilly District Jail. Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, brother of Mafia Atiq Ahmed, is lodged in Bareilly District Jail since July 11, 2020. On administrative grounds, he was brought from Naini Jail to Bareilly District Jail. Earlier, Atiq Ahmed also remained closed from January 1, 2019, to April 10, 2019. On February 24, advocate Umeshpal and two policemen were gunned down in broad daylight in Prayagraj. Bombs were also hurled.

After the massacre, the CCTV footage of the entire incident was circulated on the internet media. Based on the footage, each of the accused involved in the incident was identified, in which Atiq's son Asad was also seen firing bullets. After identifying the accused, the police made it clear that the whole story of the murder was hatched by Atiq and Ashraf. After this, who was the accused involved in the murder case, met both the accused who was in jail before the incident? Its investigation started.

 

A team of Prayagraj Police and STF camped in Bareilly. The team reached the jail. Captured the DVR of the CCTV cameras of the jail. The team contacted the jail headquarters for footage of other days in February. The jail headquarters provided the entire footage to the team, in which the accused Asad, the betel nut killer, and his henchmen involved in the Umeshpal murder case were seen imprisoned. After this, it became clear that Ashraf had given the green signal for the massacre from Bareilly District Jail.

 

Asad and Azhar met on ID, Prayagraj police gave their names

Prayagraj police had handed over the names of the mafia's son Asad, Asad's son Afaq, Sadaqat, Armaan, Ghulam, and Guddu Muslim to Bareilly police after revealing their identity from the footage. When the Bareilly police got involved in the investigation. When evidence was collected from the district jail, it was found that on February 11, the accused had met on the ID of Asad and Azhar. On this basis, when the footage was scrutinized, Asad, Armaan, Usman, and Ghulam were identified as meeting Ashraf and others. The team handed over this report to the government and Prayagraj police.

 

An illegal meeting was confirmed

As the investigation progressed, it came to light that illegal visits were arranged to Ashraf in jail. The system used to work at his behest from the guard of the jail to the inside. After this information came to the fore, the government handed over the investigation to DIG Jail Bareilly, RN Pandey. Based on their investigation report, seven including Jailor Rajeev Kumar Mishra, Deputy Jailor Durgesh Pratap Singh, Jail Warden Shivhari Awasthi, Manoj Gaur, Brajveer Singh, Danish Mehndi, Dalpat Singh were suspended. Then the Jail Superintendent Rajeev Shukla was also suspended. Jail warden Shivhari Awasthi, Manoj Gaur, and other operatives had to go to jail.

 

Ashraf said, people keep coming to meet us

During the production, when the accused Ashraf was questioned that he got Umeshpal and the policemen killed. The accused involved in the murder had come to meet him in jail before the incident. He had presented clarification on this. It was said that people keep coming to meet us in jail. Meetings are organized under the supervision of LIU and jail officers. In such a situation, how can they conspire to kill, but when the question arose about the meeting just before the incident, he remained silent.
