The Kumbh Mela of Haridwar can now be finished. Because of the increasing cases of Corona, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has appealed to the saints and saints that the Kumbh be kept symbolic. Modi also had a phone conversation with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri. He also learned about the well-being of the saints and saints being found infected in the Kumbh Mela.

Modi wrote on social media, 'Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Swami Awadheshanand Giri Ji spoke on the phone today. Know about the health of all saints. All the saints are giving all kinds of support to the administration. I thanked the saint world for this. I have prayed that two royal baths have taken place and that the Kumbh should be kept symbolic due to the crisis in Corona. This will give strength to the fight against this crisis. '

Swami Awadheshanand also appealed

After talking to the Prime Minister, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri of Juna Arena also shared this information on social media. He wrote, 'We honor the call of Hon'ble Prime Minister. Protecting yourself and others' lives is a great virtue. My Dharma Parayan urges the public to discharge the rules of Corona because of the circumstances of Covid. '

Swami Awadheshananda said that most of the baths have been completed. The only bath of leftovers is left. Very few sadhus will be involved in this and they also believe that this bath should be symbolic.

More than 70 monks infected so far

Because of the increasing cases of Corona, Niranjani Akhara had announced to end the Kumbh Mela 15 days in advance. 17 saints of this arena have been infected. The secretary of the arena, Ravindra Puri, is infected. So far, more than 70 saints who attended the Kumbh Mela have been found corona infected. A large number of saints are being tested. Two days ago, Mahamandaleshwar Kapil Devdas (65) of All India Panch Nirvani Akhara has also died.

The appeal in Supreme Court- Kumbh advertisements should be removed

A lawyer has approached the Supreme Court over the concern of spreading corona in Kumbh. The petitioner's lawyer says that the court should direct the central and Uttarakhand government that all advertisements inviting people to come to Kumbh should be removed.

Corona speed up by 8814% in Uttarakhand

In Uttarakhand, there has been an increase of 8814% in the rate of visits of corona patients within a month. To understand this growth rate, first look at some figures. From February 14 to February 28, only 172 people were found infected in Uttarakhand. Then between April 1 and 15, 15,333 people were hit by Corona. The growth rate between 14 February and 14 April comes to 8814%.

The worsening situation can also be gauged from the number of patients who get here every day. Until February, only 30 to 60 people were found infected every day here. Now, this number has increased from 2,000 to 2,500. If you look at the figures, then it seems that this is just the beginning. Conditions may become even more frightening in the coming days. In the last 24 hours, 2402 people have been found infected in Uttarakhand. Of these, 539 patients are from Haridwar.

The arena started colliding with the outbreak of corona

The saints of the arena have clashed with each other to spread the infection in Kumbh. Accusing each other of spreading corona. The Bairagi Akhara alleged that the transition to Kumbh spread from the Sanyasi Akhara.

Mahant Rajendra Das, president of the Nirmohi Akhara, has blamed Akhara Parishad president Mahant Narendra Giri for the cases of increasing infection in Kumbh. The time of Kumbh Mela in Haridwar is till 30 April. Due to Corona, this year Kumbh Mela was started from April 1 instead of January.
