The user faced the problem for about one and a half hours and then suddenly after logging in, Facebook and Instagram opened.
Mobile users had to face problems regarding Facebook and Instagram for one and a half hours. As soon as the user opened Facebook around 8:30 pm, his account did not open. Suddenly the account started showing as logged out and the session expired. Users got upset. Even when people started entering their Facebook passwords, it could not be opened. People also tried forgetting the password and then the OTP came, but no process was taking place after entering it. The same thing happened on the Instagram app also, users were not able to refresh there also.
When this happened, the user immediately searched the problem of Facebook and Instagram on Google and YouTube. The user shared his problem by messaging his acquaintances on WhatsApp. People started discussing among themselves that there had been a cyber attack on Facebook and Instagram, the servers of both had gone down, both had crashed, the accounts had been hacked, etc. People started making memes and posting them on X, in which Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg is shown fixing the wire with a patchwork and pliers. After about one and a half hours of trouble, Facebook suddenly stopped and Instagram suddenly started working. Then somewhere the users regained their senses and started using social media again.
This appears to be a case of Facebook and Instagram being down. This is not the first time, the problem of Down had come before also, but its forms were different. Like photos, and videos not being uploaded, new posts not being visible, etc.
Suddenly the problem in Facebook and Instagram accounts starts going down in its servers, which gets resolved automatically after some time.
