During the health ministry press briefing, he said that the third wave of corona cannot be avoided.

He had said that the vaccine would need to be updated so that it could compete with this new corona strain. He hoped that we should prepare for a new wave. He further said that along with upgrading the vaccine, surveillance will also be required.
