IMC 2023: PM Modi inaugurates India Mobile Congress, participants from 22 countries are participating

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated Asia's largest technology platform, India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023, at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The 7th edition of this three-day tech event will focus on 6G, and 5G network improvement, telecom, and other areas. Along with PM Modi, Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and industry leaders were also present at the event.

 

New information regarding AI applications, edge computing, Industry 4.0, and India Stack will also be available on Asia's largest technology platform. IMC 2023 is showcasing the breadth of related technology domains such as broadcast, satellite communication, manufacturing, and semiconductors. The three-day event will highlight technologies like 5G, 6G, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and discuss issues related to the semiconductor industry, green technology, cyber security, etc.

 

PM Modi visited Reliance Jio Corner

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Reliance Jio Corner. During this, Jio Chairman Akash Ambani told PM Modi about the new products and solutions displayed by the company at IMC 2023. PM Modi also took a look at the new technology displayed by Airtel and Ericsson at this year's event.

 

Let us tell you that in this event, telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) will showcase their new 5G use cases, showcase their applications and services that may be available to consumers in the next few years.

 

Participants from 22 countries are taking part

IMC 2023 is expected to be attended by over one lakh participants from around 22 countries, including around 5,000 CEO-level delegates, 230 exhibitors, 400 startups, and other stakeholders.
