Akshay Kumar expressed grief.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter (formerly Twitter), "I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Killing innocent people like this is a blot on the name of humanity. My prayers for the families of the deceased." After this statement, Akshay, and many other celebrities expressed grief and anger on social media.
Actor Sonu Sood tweeted, "The cowardly attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir is highly condemnable. There should be no place for terrorism in a civilized society. My deepest condolences to the victim's families. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured. Om Sai Ram."
Tusshar Kapoor also reacted sharply and said, "India will give a befitting reply to this cowardice. Those who are afraid of India's progress will have to face defeat like every time. My condolences are with the victim's families."
