Australian Defense Minister: Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles said that China's dogmatic attitude in the South China Sea is the same as it has been towards India regarding the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Marles said that China should show commitment to resolving the border dispute through the process of negotiations under international law. It is a matter of concern for any country to try to resolve the border dispute with the neighboring country by force.

During a conversation with the Australia High Commission, Marles said, "We have never seen before the way China is doing new construction work around it. All this has been done during the last decade. He said that in the past few years, Over years, China's attitude has seen the development of a sense of dogma."

He said that China's behavior with Indian soldiers on the South China Sea and the Line of Actual Control two years ago was very poor. In the context of the incident in Galvan Valley, Marles said that we stand firmly with the sovereignty of India. He said that we are feeling similar behavior in the South China Sea as well.

Marles said that many things have come to notice regarding the claim of making and occupying artificial islands in the South China Sea. He further said that China is constantly violating the established basic rules regarding the South China Sea and LAC, which are very important for the region.

Let us tell you that Australia's Defense Minister Richard Marles reached India on Monday on a four-day visit. After reaching India, the Australian Defense Minister held a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh on Wednesday. In this meeting, the two countries reviewed the regional security situation and expressed views about their shared goals of an open, free, and rules-based Indo-Pacific region.
