Indian legend Kris Srikkanth predicted SRH, saying - according to now, the team will be number nine in the points table

The start of the 15th season of IPL has not been good for Sunrisers Hyderabad, who performed poorly in IPL 2021. The team has made many changes in its team for the ongoing season. The franchise has not only dropped the players but has also made changes in the coaching staff. SRH signed Dale Steyn, Brian Lara, Hemang Badani, and Simon Katich for the season.

While Katich decided to step down ahead of the season, other coaches remain part of the Orange Army. Playing a new season under the leadership of Kane Williamson, SRH did not start well. Because the team suffered a massive 61-run defeat against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday (29 March).

In the initial matches of IPL 15, many teams got big scores while chasing the target. But the Hyderabad team failed to chase down the target of 211 runs set by Rajasthan Royals in their very first match thus becoming the first team to lose a game while chasing the target.

Giving his verdict on SRH's prospects, their former mentor Kris Srikkanth made a big prediction and said that there are early signs of them finishing in the last two on the points table.

Sunrisers Hyderabad's team last won the trophy in 2016, after which the team's performance has not been very good. However, he has played only one game in the season and will hope to prove his critics wrong going forward.

As for the team, Orange Army had retained Williamson and Uncapped stars Abdul Samad and Umran Malik ahead of the mega auction. He also included Washington Sundar (8.75 crores), Romario Shepherd (7.75 crores), Marco Jensen (4.2 crores), Karthik Tyagi (4 crores), Abhishek Sharma (6.5 crores), Rahul Tripathi (85 crores), Nicholas Pooran (10.75 crores). Spent a huge amount on others.
